Bonner County Republican Women, Inc. Hosted Scott Herndon

Bonner County Republican Women, Inc. hosted Republican State Senate Candidate Scott Herndon as the program speaker in September of 2022. The topic was “Taking on the Establishment and Winning, A True David and Goliath Tale.”

The meeting was held at the Sandpoint VFW Hall on Thursday, September 22.  Attendees heard about Herndon’s journey to win the primary. Limited refreshments were available.

About Scott Herndon

Scott Herndon is an Idaho politician who served as the State Senator for District 1 from 2022 to 2026. Herndon is a member of the Republican Party.

Herndon was born in Sandpoint, Idaho, in 1967. He graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in finance. After college, Herndon worked as a financial advisor. He also served as a volunteer firefighter and a member of the Bonner County Republican Central Committee.

Herndon is a conservative Republican. He strongly supports gun rights, limited government, and the free market. He is also a vocal critic of abortion and same-sex marriage.

Some consider Herndon a controversial figure. He was also a popular figure among many Idaho Republicans. Opponents criticize his views on abortion, gun control, and same-sex marriage.
