Bonner County Republican Women Inc. recently hosted speakers including Dorothy Moon, Heather Scott, and Scott Herndon.BCRWI honored Moon with the group’s Woman of Courage award.Dorothy Moon, who was recently elected Chair of the Idaho Republican Party, spoke to the group about the party's recent accomplishments and future plans. She also discussed her hopes to hold a Presidential Caucus in Idaho in March 2024. BCRWI honored Moon with the group’s Women of Courage award. Scott Herndon spoke to BCRWI about his work on behalf of limited governmentScott Herndon, a conservative Republican politician who has served in the Idaho House of Representatives since 2014, spoke to the group about his work on behalf of limited government, individual liberty, and traditional values. As a Republican State Senate Candidate, Herndon spoke to the group about his journey to win the primary. He discussed his plans for the Idaho state Senate and his views on several issues, including gun rights, limited government, and the free market. Heather Scott is a vocal critic of government overreach.Heather Scott is a conservative Republican politician who has served in the Idaho House of Representatives since 2014. She is a vocal critic of government overreach and has supported legislation to reduce taxes, limit regulations, and protect Second Amendment rights. She has also strongly advocated for parental rights and has opposed Common Core education standards. Scott is a member of the Idaho Freedom Foundation, a conservative think tank that advocates for limited government. She is also a member of the House Freedom Caucus, a group of conservative lawmakers who have pledged to fight for limited government and individual liberty. Bonner County Republican Women Inc. is a group of like-minded conservative Republican women who believe that an informed electorate is key to preserving what the Founders of our country intended.
